About this Event:

This class is the required training to obtain an Ontario Hunting License. It is the first step in preparing for the vast wonders of what this great province provides.

This class is in conjunction with the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (Non-Restricted) offered as the ONE STOP PROGRAM. Prerequisite is to have successfully completed the Non-Restricted PAL training. When offered as a ONE STOP Class, sections related to firearms are skipped. There is a Non-Restricted Class booked for March 15th at the same location

About the Program

Overview:

This course is for new hunters interested in obtaining hunter education certification.

Ce cours s'adresse aux nouveaux chasseurs et chasseuses intéressé(e)s à obtenir un certificat de formation à la chasse.
Students will be provided introductory information about wildlife management and identification, firearm safety, hunting laws & regulations, hunting techniques & responsibilities as well as hunting safety and equipment. New hunters of all ages must take hunter education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting license in Ontario.

Les étudiants et étudiantes recevront des informations d’introduction sur la gestion de la faune et de l'identification, la sécurité concernant la manutention des armes à feu, les lois et règlements régissant la chasse, les techniques et les responsabilités de chasse, ainsi que la sécurité et sur les équipements de chasse. Les nouveaux et nouvelles chasseurs et chasseuses de tous âges doivent suivre une formation à la chasse et réussir un examen avant de pouvoir acheter leur premier permis de chasse en Ontario.
