About this Event: Welcome to Ontario's Hunter Education Program. Start time 08:00 Location ; Kirkfield and District Historical Society , The (Old Church) Parking in the rear. Use side entrance. Note taking materials may be an advantage.
Be prepared for long days. Bring your lunch! Those attending the Canadian Firearm Safety Course on November23rd, be prepared for 9.5 hours of course delivery followed by written and practical testing. Breaks and lunch will be in addition to these time lines. You will be working well into the evening some later than others due to staggered practical testing. Bring your lunch! Coffee water some light snack will be provided.
For November 24th, the Hunter Education program will be 8 hours of course delivery plus a knowledge based quiz. so an earlier departure time. These times do not include your lunch and breaks. Bring your lunch, food or drink to keep yourself comfortable. Coffee water some light snack will be provided.

Ce cours s'adresse aux nouveaux chasseurs et chasseuses intéressé(e)s à obtenir un certificat de formation à la chasse.
Les étudiants et étudiantes recevront des informations d’introduction sur la gestion de la faune et de l'identification, la sécurité concernant la manutention des armes à feu, les lois et règlements régissant la chasse, les techniques et les responsabilités de chasse, ainsi que la sécurité et sur les équipements de chasse. Les nouveaux et nouvelles chasseurs et chasseuses de tous âges doivent suivre une formation à la chasse et réussir un examen avant de pouvoir acheter leur premier permis de chasse en Ontario.
