About this Event:
The total cost for the HEC including HST is $200.00, this amount also includes the manual and written exam. To make it fair for all students inquiring, I do not "hold" seats and to guarantee your seat, please send a non-refundable deposit by E-Transfer to reganpilatzke5@gmail.com for $100.00; I have “auto deposit” set. The balance of $100.00 is e-transferred the day before course. A paper receipt will be provided at the course in the amount of $200.00. The costs include the hard copy manual and written test that will be provided at the course. NOTE: If you cancel or fail to attend, the deposit may be promptly returned to you only if you or I can fill the spot with another student prior. The cost includes the manual, written test and other material.
The Hunter Education Course (HEC) educates students about provincial hunting laws/regulations (i.e. Provincial Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act), hunting techniques, identifying animals, ecosystems, responsible hunting etc… Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a course certificate that you bring to Service Ontario as proof of having completed the course and obtain your Outdoors card. Upon purchasing your licence, you may hunt with Archery equipment only, If you wish to hunt with a firearm, you will need to take the Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) please contact me for information and registration concerning the CFSC.

Ce cours s'adresse aux nouveaux chasseurs et chasseuses intéressé(e)s à obtenir un certificat de formation à la chasse.
Les étudiants et étudiantes recevront des informations d’introduction sur la gestion de la faune et de l'identification, la sécurité concernant la manutention des armes à feu, les lois et règlements régissant la chasse, les techniques et les responsabilités de chasse, ainsi que la sécurité et sur les équipements de chasse. Les nouveaux et nouvelles chasseurs et chasseuses de tous âges doivent suivre une formation à la chasse et réussir un examen avant de pouvoir acheter leur premier permis de chasse en Ontario.
