About this Event:
Below is the information on the next Hunter Education courses only and how to register
The Hunter Education Course (HEC) educates students about provincial hunting laws/regulations (i.e. Provincial Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act), hunting techniques, identifying animals, ecosystems, responsible hunting etc… Upon successful completion of this course, you will be issued a course certificate that you bring to Service Ontario as proof of having completed the course and obtain your Outdoors card. Upon purchasing your licence, you may hunt with Archery equipment only, If you wish to hunt with a firearm, you will need to take the Canadian Firearm Safety Course (CFSC) please contact me for information and registration concerning the CFSC.
Please note to register for the HE please go to OHEP.net, on your left click "Instructor led course" and you will be prompted to create a profile name, DOB. Next, locate the HE event date you wish to attend and register for that date (it will be July 27, 2022) .

The total cost for the HEC including HST is $200.00.
NOTE: If you cancel or fail to attend, the deposit may be promptly returned to you only if you or I can fill the spot with another student prior. The cost includes the manual, written test and other material.

Students will be provided introductory information about wildlife management and identification, firearm safety, hunting laws & regulations, hunting techniques & responsibilities as well as hunting safety and equipment. New hunters of all ages must take hunter education training and pass an exam before they can purchase their first hunting license in Ontario.
